At Lind Marine we have a versatile fleet of spud barges in a variety of sizes and configurations.
These seemingly boring pieces of equipment provide a solid platform for a wide variety of applications, from staging dump scows and other equipment during dredging season to providing a steady platform for firework or drone light shows(some photos and videos of a recent Dead & Company concert in SF) . During dredging season we like to use them instead of mooring anchors as we find them to be safer and more secure than leaving a barge swinging to the current or wind on a mooring ball. Additionally, we find it is much safer of an operation for our deck crew to secure to a spud barge than to a mooring.
